Final round robin night

Lead into the finals

28 Nov 2016 by Steve Montgomery

With the earthquake putting us a week behind, I sent the vote out to players last week to whether they wanted to finish on the 6th Dec (Playing another doubleheader) or the 13th Dec. The votes came back 10-9 for finishing on the 6th Dec. So with that in mind, all teams will be playing two matches Tuesday Night. A couple of tips to keep your game optimal.

1. Drink water

2. Eat food between games

3. Stay warm

But a lot of us already know this. I think diet and water are the most important. The results from this night will determine where you'll be playing in the finals. Here's a quick rundown of how the finals work. The team with the most points plays the team with the second most and so on e.g 1 v 2, 3 v 4, 5 v 6, 7 v 8.

Primary Owner/Organiser

I’m the primary organiser and owner of the Business Class Table Tennis Competition. I started playing table tennis around 15 years ago and have kept a strong passion for the game ever since. This competition is a reflection of that passion, and I believe it’s one of the best offerings Wellington has for table tennis enthusiasts. Outside of table tennis, I run Profile Photos, a portrait photography studio based in Wellington. At Profile Photos, we specialise in corporate headshots, personal branding, and professional portraits for individuals and businesses. With a focus on capturing each client at their best, we deliver high-quality images that make a real impact. Whether it’s for LinkedIn profiles, company websites, or promotional material, I help people present themselves in the best possible light.
