Finals Night

News and winners from the Finals Night

25 Nov 2015 by Steve Montgomery

After 6 weeks of competition we have the winners. In Div 1 we have Kitomba A taking it out with a 5-0 win over Supreme A. With the return of their big hitter, I Love Paris was able to secure 3rd place with a 4-1 win over Springload. Grabme looks to be on the improve after a win over Sproutmedia 3-2.

For Div 2, Hashbang were able to keep their top form with a 4-1 win over Powerbees. Hashbang declined the proposal to move up to Div 1, so therefore Powerbees will take that opportunity to play in the higher division. Supreme B and with the return of their main player upped the ante with a 3-2 win over new comers CoreLogic. CoreLogic shows promise for the next round if they enter. Bitches with Bats had a hard night with a 0-5 loss with Storypark, With what i saw, BWB is on the improve though.

I would like thank Paul Solt from TTsports for putting up some prizes and Samara from I Love Paris who also put up some prizes. I would also like to thank everyone for participating in the competition and hope to see you all for the next one. Confirmation date of the next competition will be posted next week.

I’m the primary organiser and owner of the Business Class Table Tennis Competition. I started playing table tennis around 15 years ago and have kept a strong passion for the game ever since. This competition is a reflection of that passion, and I believe it’s one of the best offerings Wellington has for table tennis enthusiasts. Outside of table tennis, I run Profile Photos, a portrait photography studio based in Wellington. At Profile Photos, we specialise in corporate headshots, personal branding, and professional portraits for individuals and businesses.
