Round 2 Round 2

Round 2 saw the first night for Division 2 to play a double header. Supreme are back on form; they came jumping out the gate with an impressive 5-0 win over CoreLogic Stimpy. They carried that momentum into the next match against Hashbang 1 with another 5-0 win. You can see fatigue coming into play with these double headers, remember to keep your energy levels up by eating something between matches. CoreLogic Ren is holding their top position well after two 4-1 wins, pushing them into the upper part of the leaderboard. CoreLogic Stimpy took another win over the improving Hashbang 2. Team Outpost and Powerbees had some excellent games. Even though Team Outpost took the 5-0 win, the Powerbees are looking good. Powerbess took their loss and put it behind them to finally get their first win in a few competitions. Storypark had the right idea by playing their reserves for the second match. Having fresh legs is always good.

In Division 1 only two matches were being played. Kitomba Paddle Pals and I Love Paris were playing their game the following week. Current favourites WITC took on BNZ Mercenaries with an easy 5-0 win. In the other game, Tenzing played Catalyst IT and took a very close 3-2 win. They are looking like the ones that will be playing WITC in the final.

I’m the primary organiser and owner of the Business Class Table Tennis Competition. I started playing table tennis around 15 years ago and have kept a strong passion for the game ever since. This competition is a reflection of that passion, and I believe it’s one of the best offerings Wellington has for table tennis enthusiasts. Outside of table tennis, I run Profile Photos, a portrait photography studio based in Wellington.
