Round 3 updates

Round 3 was postponed a week after the huge earthquake of Kaikoura. It didn't stop the players from turning out some massive efforts in this round. We start with I Love Paris, even though they lost both their matches it didn't reflect on how well they played. Their first match was against the might WITC. Samara brought her long lost friend back into the fold the "Pips". After some close games with Ian, she let lose on Malcolm knocking him off his 100% record and winning 3-1 games. Kitomba Paddle Pals look to be back on form after a 2-week hiatus, winning their first Match in their double header against I Love Paris. They then carried that same form to their second match with Catalyst IT where they took a 3-2 win over them. Catalyst IT was missing one of their star players. Unfortunately, they were unable to secure third place in the competition. Tenzing once again had another win of 4-1 over BNZ Mercenaries. BNZ was missing one of their players, therefore reliant on Phil's wife who has played for a long time but looks to still have it.

Liam 2 Liam, Kitomba Paddle Pals
Tenzing2 Sandeep and Bhushan, Tenzing
BNZ 2 The Mora's, BNZ Mercenaries

Division 2 saw their second night of the doubleheader games. Hashbang 1 taking a much-needed win over CoreLogic Stimpy with 5-0 games, but were unable to carry the winning form forward when playing Team Outpost losing 3-2 games. Powerbess had a great night with two more wins under their belt, beating both Hashbang 2 and CoreLogic Stimpy 3-2 games. CoreLogic Ren looking to have one hand on the trophy already looked in top form with two 5-0 wins. Following closely behind them is Supreme, with two strong 4-1 wins will push them in second on the table. Again, with these doubleheaders it's important to remember to bring something to eat to keep the energy levels up otherwise you'll fade in the later games.
