After six weeks of competition, we have our first-time winners in Division 1 & 2. Kingdom Music were able to edge out Kitomba for a 3-2 win, last time they met in the finals, Kitomba took them out for a 4-1 win, but this wasn't the case this time. For third place playoff, we saw Springload take the Powerbess down 4-1 games. Springload definitely has a spring in their step and are to watch out for the next competition. Further, down the ladder, Supreme was able to take hold of fifth place over newcomer Xero.
In Division 2 newcomer team CoreLogic Redish was able to beat past champions Hashbang. I was very impressed with CoreLogic Redish with their rise to the top and Hashbang's games since their star player has left, they show promise for the next competition. In third and fourth place the other two CoreLogic teams battled it out with the Greyish team beating Whitesh. Also, they are new teams which I was impressed with. Maybe some new bats will help them advance some more. Finally, Storypark were able to beat Grabme 3-2 games. Both these teams I have noticed an improvement in their game, and will be watching them carefully next round.
Overall I'm really pleased with the level of gameplay in this series, everyone is improving round by round and it's awesome to keep seeing the teams hungry for more. I would like to thank Coffee Supreme and TTsports for putting up some prizes, it just makes the competition more enticing.
Keep an eye out for the video as it will be posted within the next week. Forward it around to other businesses to get the word out about Wellington's premiere Business Class Table Tennis competition. Look forward to seeing you all at the next one which is due to start in late April.
Cheers
